THE HARDWARE: It's the computer's physical components, ie everything that can see and touch. The hardware can be classified into two types:
- The found inside the tower or CPU , and therefore can not see with the naked eye. An example might be the sound card or RAM
- The found around the tower or CPU , and therefore, if we see with the naked eye, and we call peripheral. An example might be a mouse or printer.
SOFTWARE: Are the instructions the computer needs to run, do not physically exist, or what is the same, you can not see or touch. We also have two types:
- Operating Systems: Their mission is the computer manage its resources efficiently, as well to allow communication with the user.
- Applications: These are computer programs that attempt to solve specific user needs, such as: writing, drawing, music ...
